History

The Marigold Member Libraries' Workshop began in 2002. With fewer member libraries and library staff, the first workshops were held at Marigold Library System Headquarters. Steadily growing, the workshop, now Marigold Library System Conference, has had many venues over the years, each one larger than the last.

Our last conference was held on May 10, 2023 at the Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre in Calgary, Alberta. 210 attendees (Marigold staff and board members, member library staff and board members, SAIT LIT students, other library system attendees, vendors, and presenters) helped make it a thrilling day of learning and networking.
